Here at Riddle Brook Farm, we are home to a flock of 100 hens, 5 roosters, 1 goose, and 2 sweet-hearted Great Pyrenees guardian dogs, Penny and Wally.
We believe that the quality of a hen’s egg is the direct product of her quality of life. Our hens have free rein over abundant open pasture, with the companionship of their flock and the protection of two furry friends. We can say with confidence that our chickens live as full and free lives as any we’ve seen.
Our eggs are available for purchase at the Copley Square Farmer’s Market on Fridays in Boston from May through November and through our Winter Egg CSA. Sign up for our Winter Egg Share down below!
Winter Egg CSA
This year, our Egg Share will be hosted by Back Bay Wine & Spirits located at 441 Stuart St, Boston, MA 02116. Starting as early as February 6th, you can pick up our colorful pasture-raised eggs every other Tuesday anytime after 11 am. The CSA runs until Tuesday, May 14th. Due to high demand and a limited supply of our eggs, we have only a few openings to start in February. Our chickens will continue to lay more and more eggs as we approach Spring, so each week we can open the share to more people. Pricing:
1 dozen (minimum) - $12/every other week
For a 1 dozen share running from February 6th until May 14th, there will be 8 bi-weekly pickups…$96
We are not limiting the number of eggs a customer can purchase. Make sure to include how many eggs you’d like (in increments of 1/2 dozen) when you sign up!
We will bill customers for the full share price once we confirm your start date.
